Never use baking powder.

I've made two from it now - both were quite dense, certainly not the sort of cake that would collapse in the oven, but were very nice.

I did wonder if it was worth letting it sit and rise a bit bef ...

Fruit with seeds can be passed through a mouli and it is worth it as the end result is much nicer to eat without all the seeds.

We've been harvesting Summer Sun for a few days now, lovely tasty huge cherries but ALL split. The local farm shop sells these but they spray them against splitting
